New York City’s booming home market is giving buyers a chance to stretch their wallets as they look for their next home.
Home Depot and Homejoy are offering a new kind of home buying service, which allows buyers to get an in-depth look at a potential home before buying.
The service is called HomeCheck and the service will be offered to sellers through the company’s online store on Wednesday, Nov. 18, starting at 6 a.m.
PT.
Here are 10 things you need to know:What is HomeCheck?
HomeCheck is a program that will give buyers a full look at potential homes before they make their final decision.
HomeCheck lets buyers view home photos, photos and videos and get a more detailed look at what they’re looking at.
To start, the buyer will receive an email with the home photos and video and be given a list of questions to answer.
HomeCheck also lets buyers check in with their local real estate agent and find out whether or not they can buy the home at a discount.
How does it work?
After buying a home, HomeCheck will send a survey to buyers and buyers will be given an opportunity to answer questions about their buying history, family, hobbies, values and lifestyle.
Homecheck also helps buyers choose a price and set the sale price.
The seller will also receive a monthly email with information about the home’s current condition and availability.
What are the perks?
The price and the sale date are also key factors when choosing a home and how much to bid.
The average price for a new, empty home in New York is $1.1 million and for a sale, it can be up to $7 million.
The median price for homes sold in 2016 was $1 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
If you’re looking to buy a home for less than $1,000, you can also take advantage of a discount on the sale.
What are the downsides?
Homecheck does not offer an agent.
Homebuyers have to contact the company directly, and they’ll have to complete a survey online to complete their purchase.
The company has no guarantee that the buyer is buying the home and HomeCheck does not recommend buying from a seller.
How much do HomeCheck costs?
Home Check is free for new buyers who sign up through the site and the site charges a $20 fee per transaction.
HomeBuyers can also save money by shopping for homes on the website with a friend, a relative or a friend who is an agent or a member of a local real-estate association.
