In the early hours of Thursday morning, Australia was hit by a power blackout, with thousands of Australians without power.

The blackout is causing widespread concern and anger, with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull saying he would take urgent action if he is re-elected.

It is a big blow to us all and we’re going to be doing everything we can to get everyone back to normal and the government will do everything it can to make sure that happens.
