Post photographer and political photographer David M. Fahrenthold wrote a poem about President Donald Trump, a day after his birthday, on Sunday.

In his poem, Fahrenthus wrote, “I wish you’d be happy to see me today.”

Fahrenths birthday came at the end of a tumultuous day in Washington.

The president, in an address to a joint session of Congress, announced that he was firing FBI Director James Comey and the Justice Department was investigating possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The firing came after weeks of probes into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and alleged ties between Trump associates and Russia and his associates’ efforts to influence the 2016 election.
