Homegoods Stores, the company that operates the Mirrored night stand, will close its doors at midnight on Monday, a spokesperson has confirmed to RTE.

The company, which has around 30 stores across Ireland, has also decided to stop selling its Mirrored collection at night and is looking to invest in new nightstands, the spokesperson said.

This will mean that Mirrored will be closed at midnight tomorrow.

This is a very sad day for all of us at Homegood, it’s an absolute loss for all those affected and their families.

This announcement comes just days after the company announced a significant increase in its profits for the year, to €3.5 million.

This came after a year of financial difficulties that saw Homegood lose €1.8 million in its last financial year.

Despite the disappointing results, the retailer says it will be able to survive for another 12 months and it is investing in its future.
