COLUMBIA, S.C. — Costco’s new South Carolina store will open at 8 a.m.

Thursday.

The store, the first in the state since the closure of the South Carolina Costco store, will be located in a historic shopping center in Columbia, S., a city with an impressive history of its own.

According to the company, the South Columbia Costco is the first of its kind to open in the South since its opening in 1999.

This will be the first Costco in South America to open its doors in its new retail hub at South Columbia Mall.

Costco plans to serve South Carolina residents in a variety of ways, including at its two South Carolina locations, as well as at other retail outlets in the area.

South Carolina Costco announced the new store on its website.
